DVR 9 Channel LAN CD-R PTZ Remote Description
New improved models feature: • Two hard disk bays • MPEG4 compression for up to 3 times the recording time of M-JPEG DVR’s • Upgraded CD functions for evidence archival • Enhanced software for faster internet viewing from multiple locations simultaneously • Totally revised firmware for added reliability • Revised cooling • 4 x RCA audio channels • VGA monitor output • USB connection for archival to external drives & flash memory sticks • Jog & shuttle on front panel These stand alone digital video recorders form the core of a typical surveillance system providing switching, triggering, recording and playback functions. They accept 4, 9 or 16 camera inputs which can be individually recorded to an internal hard drive (available separately) and played back (or viewed live on screen). Individual channels can be tailored to suit the installation with settings such as brightness, contrast, saturation, hue and gain, all fully adjustable. Motion detecting areas can be easily set up for all channels. It’s full triplex functionality allows recording, playback and review of archived footage (locally or remote) all at once. No longer is it necessary to stop recording while footage playback is happening. Recording can be triggered via external contacts such as alarms, infra red sensors etc. or alternatively scheduled recording or full time recording is available. Live viewing & recorded footage can be played back on the monitor in full screen or in quad mode (all channels at once). You can even monitor cameras via a handy picture-in-picture mode. Recording time is dependant on hard disk space & number of cameras. A maximum of 100fps recording is achievable across all cameras. The following examples are calculated using 2 x 400Gb hard drives; The 4 channel DVR could record up to 12fps per camera at standard resolution (360 x 288) for 40 days. Alternatively, recording at 3fps per camera at high resolution (720 x 576) also provides 40 days of record time. In real time recording mode (25fps per camera), up to 19 days recording time is achievable. For recording with 16 channels, the DVR can be configured for high resolution recording at 1fps for an entire months worth of coverage! Space is provided for a two hard disk drives plus CD-RW facility for footage archiving or backup. Whenever footage is archived to CD the viewing software is also burnt making it easy for anyone to view, even without the original software disc. Remote access is possible via an in-built Ethernet port. Correctly configured, this allows users to log in from remote locations and control the surveillance systems features (such as camera pan/tilt/zoom functions, footage playback etc.) and view live feeds.
