Portable 2.5" IDE Hard Drive Enclosure with Fingerprint Security & Data Encryption Description
Portable hard drives allow easy mobile data storage, but they can make confidential information vulnerable to embarrassing disclosure. This excellent drive case overcomes this problem by incorporating a fingerprint reader and encryption software to secure the data on the drive. The software allows both secure and public folders on the drive plus a range of encryption options. Any file moved to the encrypted folder is automatically secured by the system. Up to ten sets of fingerprints can be registered and password access is also available for those times when fingerprint scanning is not possible. Hard drive not included.
